How’s everybody feeling on this gorgeous Friday?
I’m feeling pretty good. Even though my body is in a fair bit of pain from trying to release tension I had around my left shoulderblade – let’s just say it makes my broken foot pale with envy in comparison. The reason I’m feeling good is because I have had so many amazing insights since I started back with my meditation, my mind would boggle if it could.
I started back on using mantras… Gratitude and wonder were first, quickly followed by surrender (once again), breathe and “let it be”. Now the last one may not really be a mantra but for me it’s still one of the hardest things I can imagine. Just trusting intuition and the flow of life is somehow damn hard if you’re generally passionate about life.
But whenever I manage to bring passion to each moment and pursue it without getting attached to the outcome but instead just experience it fully and give myself to the moment wholeheartedly, I have the most amazing experiences of flow and life just unfolds in a marvelously beautiful way.
And so, just for you, here’s a wonderful TED talk by author Isabel Allende. It’s one of my all-time faves, not only because Allende is a brilliantly engaging storyteller, ridiculously witty and smart but also because her talk is a love declaration to intuition, the feminine and living life with the passionate heart of a warrior. Enjoy! Sol x
